Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters Coming to Louisville Palace

Mythbusters Louisville

The hosts of the Discovery Channel show “Mythbusters” have dodged bullets, used explosive C4 as a cooking fuel, and used a speeding motorcycle to pull the tablecloth out from under a banquet.

Next Sunday, the hosts of the show, Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, bring the live version of their show to the Palace Theatre. And while you’re unlikely to witness any very large explosions, expect to see Savage and Hyneman bring their passion for scientific inquiry, fun and showmanship to the stage. via Courier-Journal

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

“We have a camera that shoots at 300 frames per second. We bring up audience members and we film them doing things in super slow-motion that are hilarious.”
“We test the myth of whether four audience members are stronger than one Jamie Hyneman.”
“We also debunk the myth of lying on a bed of nails. I do it in front of the audience, which is actually a lot of fun. It’s like getting your back scratched in the worst way imaginable.” ~“Mythbuster” Adam Savage
