North Hardin High School Band to Play in Macy’s Parade

The North Hardin High School Marching Band received news that it has been selected to perform in the iconic 2015 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
“Our music program has a long-standing tradition of excellence,” Principal Lonnie Dennis said. “Today’s announcement is another remarkable reminder of that.”
The Trojan Band will join nine other marching bands from across the country as well as floats, clowns, superstar performers and the gigantic cartoon balloons. The two-mile event through the heart of New York City attracts more than 3.5 million live spectators and more than 50 million television viewers annually.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to represent North Hardin High School, Hardin County Schools, the City of Radcliff and all of Hardin County on such a high profile national stage,” said Brian Froedge, North Hardin High School band director.
