Earth Fare, the Summit Louisville’s first grocery store is set to open on Wednesday, August 8th and features a variety of organic and locally sourced foods. According to Business First:
The 25,000-square-foot space, which previously housed an Old Navy store, will feature locally grown products and foods with no artificial flavors, preservatives or trans-fats.
Jack Murphy, CEO of the Fletcher, N.C-based Earth Fare Inc., said the location also will be Earth Fare’s first with a frozen yogurt bar.
The store specializes in organic and natural foods and will have an extensive selection of groceries with about 200 items value priced in large-volume, bulk packaging. It also will carry health and body products.
The Earth Fare store also will have an area featuring products produced within 100 miles of Louisville, Business First previously reported.
