Ever wonder who the richest man in Kentucky is? Well, David Serchuk of Insider Louisville, recently did some digging and wrote a very interesting and cool article about it (you can read the full spread here).

His name is Bradley Wayne Hughes (born September 28, 1933 in Gotebo, Oklahoma) is the founder and chairman of Public Storage, the largest self-storage company in America. According to Wikipedia, Hughes’ worth in 2010 was $3.9 billion, as compared to his 2014 net worth of 2.2 billion. Wow is right, especially for the unsuspecting industry of self storage!

As noted above, be sure to check out the full spread by David from Insider Louisville to learn more about humble Hughes.
